Turn chores, homework and healthy routines into screen time children can understand and manage themselves.
Download on the App StoreHow it works
Screen time stops being a daily negotiation. It becomes something children earn, see and manage — inside rules you set.
Chores, homework, reading, practice — whatever routines you choose.
Minutes land in their time bank when a task is done and approved.
They decide when to spend, on the apps you’ve allowed.
Their balance counts down while those apps are in use.
At zero, apps pause — and they know exactly how to earn more.
The time ledger
Like a wallet for screen time. Each minute earned or spent is a clear line item — so the balance is never a mystery, and never an argument.
For parents
See where every child stands, what’s done and what’s next. Add time, take it back or lock everything in one tap — no digging through Settings.

Borrow now, pay tomorrow
Sometimes the game ends five minutes after the balance does. Borrowing lets kids take a little from tomorrow — and feel the trade-off when tomorrow arrives. You decide whether it’s on, how much, and how often.
Step 1: Today
0 MIN
Balance used up
Step 2: Borrow now
+15
Within your limit
Step 3: Tomorrow
45 MIN
60 allowance − 15 repaid
Repayment comes out of the next allowance automatically and shows in the ledger, so nothing is hidden.
Restorative consequences
When something goes wrong, you can take a few minutes — and offer a clear way to earn them back. The lesson is repair, not punishment.

Privacy & safety
Sprigtime uses Apple’s Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity frameworks — the same system-level tools behind Screen Time. When the balance hits zero, iOS itself pauses the apps you chose.
Limits are enforced by iOS on your child’s device, and we design every feature to keep your family’s data on your devices wherever possible.
There are no ads in the app and no advertising trackers. Our business is the app, not your family.
Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
We don’t use the microphone, and we don’t read messages or see what’s on your child’s screen.
Read the details in our privacy policy.

FAQ
The questions parents ask us most.
No. Sprigtime never uses the microphone and doesn’t record, transcribe or monitor conversations. A consequence like “Language −5” only happens when a parent adds it by hand.
Sprigtime uses Apple’s Screen Time frameworks (Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity). You choose which apps count against the time bank. When the balance reaches zero, iOS shields those apps until more time is earned, borrowed or added by a parent.
When it’s set up through Apple Family Sharing with a parent’s approval, iOS requires that parent’s approval to remove Screen Time permissions. No parental control is perfectly tamper-proof, and we’ll be upfront about known limitations as we find them.
Only the ones you pick. Messages to family, school apps, maps or anything else you choose can stay available no matter what the balance is.
No. Apple’s Screen Time system is designed so apps like Sprigtime work with private, on-device tokens. We don’t see messages, browsing or what’s on your child’s screen.
No ads, no advertising trackers, and we never sell data. See our privacy policy for exactly what we collect and why.
iPhone, running iOS 17 or later. There’s no Android version at launch.
There will be a Free plan for one child. Pricing for the Family plan will be announced at launch. During the TestFlight beta, the app is free to use.
Tap “Join the beta” anywhere on this site. It opens Apple’s TestFlight — the official way to try pre-release iPhone apps — where you can install the free beta.
